Reshaping an old skateboard so I can actually get some use out of it, hand drawn quote on the back from Mark Z. Danielewski's 'House of Leaves'
RE: Skate
Reshaping an old, unused skateboard.
My old skateboard had sat under piles of books for the several years, but a friend and I have decided to bring it back to life. The quote is entirely free handed by myself, taken from Mark Z. Danielewski's 'House of Leaves' (which everyone should read), It's phonetic latin for 'non sum quails eram' which translates as 'I am not as I used to be'. I had a choice of literally hundreds of quotes that i love from this book and others but this one fit, as since I've icked up a board again I've changed and grown a lot and of course the skateboard itself has now changed so the quote relates to both of us.

I'll upload more images when i've set it up etc.
P.S. Even if you don't like the board etc, I beg you to look into the book, inside it's laid out using interesting typography which improves the reading experience and it's simply one of the best books i've ever read, just google it!
